Welcome to the newest action group from Transition Cornwall+. We are excited to share with you ways we can all reduce our waste and teach you about the 7 Rs of waste reduction. Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle, Rot and Re-think!

Did you know? From the 1 billion single-use plastic bags used each year in Canada to the 6 million tonnes of food waste created in our country annually, waste is being produced at an alarming rate.

Our Goal: The Waste Reduction Action Group hopes to build awareness of this global issue and talk about small changes we can all make in our day to day lives to reduce our waste footprint.
