Dr. Hickey is Eastern Ontario’s foremost expert on bats. For the past several years, he has developed a large-scale habitat restoration project for Little Brown bats that has engaged citizens and students in monitoring and restoration work. In this presentation, you will learn about the importance of bats in the ecosystem, the impacts of their decline, and the progress and results of his work to install bat houses and monitor populations in our region.
